Just realized you are from Syria. Unfortunately getting a TRV will likely not be possible. Honestly getting a TRV from Nigeria will also be difficult because of the large volume of Nigerian asylum seekers that have recently entered Canada.
@canuck78 . Dont you get tired of discouraging people from immigrating!Do you own the whole country? I see the same post of yours saying "there's a surplus of pharmacists in CA...blah blah "whenever a pharmacist posts a query, you told me the same months back!.Wish the forum had a filter for Negative people!!!

Many pharmacists have moved having read that they can make 100K and jobs are easy to find. Reality is that pharmacists are getting significantly less and the decrease in salaries is spreading throughout Canada. When planning your future wouldn’t you want to know that the industry has destroyed itself due to a surplus of pharmacists. If you google you get all these incorrect posts about needing pharmacists and high salaries and that just isn’t the case.

Also warn the huge amount of foreign trained dentists that Canada already has too many dentists so people should consider all there options.
https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/small-business/sb-growth/glut-of-dentists-causes-aches-in-canadas-big-cities/article36322773/ (has already gotten worse because the article is 2 years old). All my friends who are dentists complain about the surplus of dentists.

For doctors, especially specialists, I warn them not to move if you want to practice. All the IMGs will be competing for the 50ish residency spots still available. 2/3 are for family doctors and there are still some Canadian students who haven’t matched. Usually around 1500 compete for these residency spots. There are some special provincial programs for family doctors but that is between 50-100 spots. Many have no idea that there chances are so low.

Fair enough, but many of the people i know dont dream of the 100k you just mentioned ,they intend to make a living.
You cant even imagine what people go through in countries like Syria,if they dont get a job as pharmacists ,they might end up doing menial ones ,not everybody migrates believing such false reports,I dunno about your friends but mine already know the things that you write on all the posts and We believe we'll survive ,no matter what..

People from such countries will survive in Canada for sure for they have been through the worst ,they might be willing to start from the scratch.Coming to Doctors,if they are qualified enough to become one ,they'll surely do an extensive research before immigrating ,I wonder how come "your friends" didnt. Most of those who immigrate try to get in touch with somebody already living in the province for such details and those days are long gone where people DREAM of immigrating seeing such reports. Also the links you have given are years old !Try to get the latest ones next time.

I see healthcare professionals daily on this forum haven’t done done basic research. I was shocked. If you are a radiologist you would think you would try to immigrate to a country where you can work but they hadn’t done their research or think they will magically be the one success story. Many leave good jobs. Lots of dentists that have heard that others who have moved are very successful now. They may have moved 20 years ago. Most pharmacists are not moving from Syria. When move to Canada most pharmacist and dentists also are under the impression that these are jobs in demand that are very lucrative. There are tons of websites that falsely actually indicate this. Where as it may have been possible to easily get a job in Canada and provide for a family on one income 15 years ago that isn’t the case in pharmacy now and will just get worse since the numbers have continued to go up, the growth in the pharmacy sector has stopped and would actually expect some smaller pharmacies to have to close. One of sectors where there is downward pressure n salaries. Longterm pharmacists can’t expect a raise and are hopeful they don’t get let go and have to take a job at half their current salary. I know lots of people who have done MBAs and gone into government jobs but some of those are being cut now since there are many conservative governments and more austerity budgets. There are just too many pharmacies. I also hope the finally crack down on the fraud in especially the small pharmacies.

Hi everyone. I have a question...

Deadline for submitting docs for evaluation is sept for the january 2020 exam. If i submit all docs by sept and pass the evaluation, is it ok not to push through with january exam and take the next exam instead.

Or does the document evaluation have an expiry date? like you have to take the exam within the year or youll to do do document evaluation again?

Im asking coz i might not feel ready by january.

I actually emailed pebc but they didnt give me a clear answer. More like a copy paste answer.
