I also got biometric corresponding later on 23 july but do not come passport requst why
I got both my notifications around 9:00PM IST or 9:31AM local time in Edmonton. Since the office is not open to public, the hours are not displayed, but it could be same as other visa offices.
Your application many not match 100% with other applicants. It should come by this week hopefully. It is still 2PM in Edmonton, what time did you get the biometric letter notification in your email. Perhaps that could be a clue, it's a stretch but it was the same time for me.

Hmmm. I would suggest to check in the morning. If you don't get it by then, you should check around 8:30 tmmrw night. Honestly, yesterday I was in the same situation as you.
One member got his passport request in one day after biometric letter, and I was worried. Just hang tight, you should get a decision soon.
Hello All, applied for study permit under SDS on July 16th and submitted the biometrics on July 19th. Please let me know how long it will take to get passport request. Thanks !
It will take, in most cases 20 days from biometrics submission. So, you should get it by August 9th. It is possible to get it before that but some cases could be delayed.

i applied my visa on 25 june under SDS online, biometric done on 27 medical was already done before applying just till date only medical was updated and biometric date was updated after that my eligibility review started and no update its already a month I'm really worried can anyone tell me how much more time it will take based on anyone who experienced the same like me. its really getting me worried now

Thank you for you reply, when I submitted my online application it only tell me to pay for study permit. So I didn’t pay for biometric, is that the reason I haven’t received my Biometric letter? Thank you in advance!
