June 2018 Medical ( but my CIC account always showed “ we haven’t received your medical”) contacted CIC several times but they always said we have your medical.
18 July 2019 contacted MP office. And MP sent me following
Thank you for completing your consent form promptly. I received the following information regarding you permanent residency application:

• The application is at the processing centre in Sydney
• Your eligibility and criminality assessments have been completed
• The Security assessment has not yet been initiated
• Your medical assessment was valid until June 1, 2019. It had been filed under a different UCI number and was not connected to your permanent residency application

The current average processing time for Permanent Residency applications is 19 months. Given that your application has exceeded the average processing time I requested that IRCC extend the validity of your medicals so as to avoid any further delays. I also requested that your security assessment be initiated.


It takes up to 12 business days for a processing office to respond to a request from a Member of Parliament’s office. I expect to have further information at that time. I will update you when I have received a response.

Can you pls share with me details to make a request to MP. My application is been 22 months ongoing and I will like to do same.
