Yes, I submitted biometrics on July 3rd and has gotten approval. Here is my timeline:

June 29th - Submitted application
June 30th - Biometrics request
July 3rd - Biometrics given and updated
July 12th - Medical exam passed update
July 19th - Approval, correspondence letter and passport request letter, all at the same time.

I think you will get a result in either tonight, or tommorow's night.
