My employer has just got positive LMiA.
I am a foreign national in USA and was wondering if I need a visitor Visa to Canada or can just go to the border and ask for work permit.

are you from a VISA exempt country if yes you can get work permit at the border

I Have already a positive lmia from a Canadian employers. I applied a work permit application to cic .my work permit application applied a Canadian agent. My applications passed 10 days. Any one knows how much time it will take to get a biometric and medical request by embasy

Did u apply online or paper file .. online file after submitting it takes 24 hours . Paper file takes atleast month . To get a biometric request

am from Chennai,India i got positive LMIA yesterday , am going to apply WP through online , biometrics comes after 24 hours ? what about medical ? how long it does take to approve from india .

Bcoz currently am working in UAE , i have to plan accordinly to give my biometrics and medical as well

Our consultant said that once we get mail form embasy that your visa is approved then we get biometric and medical request. Is it true?
