Our office is processing a high volume of applications. Having noted this, the application is in queue to be assigned to an officer soon. Our goal is to process 80% of the applications received within a 6 month timeframe, however some applications fall outside of the 6 month processing time due to various reasons.

Please rest assured that the application is being processed, and an officer will request additional documentation should they be required.

So I got a new generic reply from CPC-Ottawa am sick of this my file was last touched on 6 Dec 2018
it's 7 months now !!!!! and they are only focusing on 2019 Applicants :(:(:(:(:(

guys - any advice - input

AOR: 22 Sept 2018
Medical: Passed
Criminality: Passed

Security: Not Started

Was under RR for Proof of Funds (pof) ..
Got to know through cic agent and then ordered gcms notes on 15th May 2019, got the notes on 15th June 2019. Was short $2000 because of a credit card on a different account.

Got bank letter and 6 month statements after adding the difference in amount. Uploaded the docs on 18th June 2019.

Got confirmation email that the docs were recieved.

Last day the file was worked upon - 9th July 2019.

No movement after - called - cic agent said even though last update was on 9th July 2019 - doesnt mean the file is not worked on.

Appreciate any feedback - Thanks guys

Hi Kzeed, Although it may take sometime for the officer to review the updated documents but I would say it's never usually going to take a long time for the review to be done. By the way is your background checks being processed currently and how did you come to know on when was your file was last worked on?

Could you please share an insight on where can I get to know about that and thanks in advance.
