Study permit extension

Hello everyone,
I recently contacted my academic department to change my program.
I have done one year of full time studies, this would be my second year.
The problem is that I can not transfer two subjects, therefore I would need two more semesters to complete my program and on those two semesters, I would be studying 2 subjects each.
Can anyone tell me if that would be a violation of my study permit that would prevent me to finish my studies? In all the programs that I have looked it's the same situation.

It wouldn't prevent you from finishing studies but you would not get PGWP afterward if that is something you want, only last semester is allowed to be part time.

What if a student was part time in a course that he withdrew , but goes for a totally different program of 2 years full time .

Can PGWP be applied on basis of that 2 year completed course "Full Time" ?

Yes, as long as you dont need the first program to count its fine, you will just submit the 2nd program graduation & transcripts.
