Ottawa received Application May 2nd
ECAS status was available almost immediately
application linked to mycic on june 10
up until 11 july my ECAS was application received
And on July 12 ECAS changed to " In process " we started processing your application on July 12
No documents have been requested up until now..

Was checking for Booking an appointment at ASC, US for biometrics. They are asking for 13 digit IRCC number. Any idea where we can find this no.
Tried with Application no and UCI that didn't work.

I'm May 3rd, and as if now, no additional documents request, no biometric request. And status is still application received for both sponsor and PA on ecas and nothing on myCIC as well. Hopefully today or tomorrow there will be any movement

I am May 01st. The status in ECAS is ‘Application Received’, not in progress or DM. No additional document requested or biometric request.I called IRCC to check status. They said your application is complete with open stage and in progress. Finger crosses !!

I called IRCC friday and asked for a temporary file number and the agent told me that they don't provide it. Is that true ? how come everyone here got it ?

He found my file and told me they have it, but said that they don't provide file number, should i call again ?

why some people got changed directly from App Received to In Process is a mystery. But I would love IRCC to really process in sequence and complete those submitted earlier first than creating this anxiety by processing not in sequences

Anyone May 3 and below without a request for additional doc should have DM for now as per the tracker

Not true. I’m April 26th and still on application received, they haven’t requested any additional docs

Call up again and don't ask for file number, simply said that you are worried that whether your application has received or not , please confirm. Then the agent will confirm by giving your temp. file no. hopefully if s/he is good enough to relieve you.
