I remember a couple years ago I read on the CIC Website that a foreign student may continue to stay in Canada (and get a study/work permit) after their studies have ended even if they are not eligible to either extend their Study Permit or get a Work Permit if banking institutions have failed in their country ... etc. there were 5-6 more reasons like that, you may wanna search this.

Can you post the link where you found this information . please

Thanks for the link..I have checked it

I could not find anywhere on the link you posted that attest attest or suggest your claim where you said "student may continue to stay in Canada (and get a study/work permit) after their studies have ended even if they are not eligible to either extend their Study Permit or get a Work Permit if banking institutions have failed in their country "

can you kindly copy and post the section here, please.

First learn to read carefully

Ther person who posted the link is different that who wrote the post about getting a work permit. I am sorry but I realised that you have been out of status since december 2017, be carefull of the CBSA, if some one writes you off you could be facing a removal order.

Also, I read you whole story and I felt really really bad but no person in the CIC Office can go beyond what the law says. Here is the law you can read it: https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/ (This is the Immigration & Refugee Protection Act, this is the Act that governs all the immigration in Canada.)

Losing a loved one is no reason for not extending study permit. - I really feel bad for you but ..

But I am still looking for something that may help you. :)

Yes! Failing courses dosent not matter at all! You just need to have completed all the course requirenments, which you did!! The permit is all yours!

Hi guys! I have a quick question. I applied on May 19th and I'm still waiting. The thing is my flight to go back to Canada from my country is on August 6th and my student visa expires on July 30th. Do you guys think I can still enter Canada without a student visa if I don't get pgwp by the time? Changing a flight is way too expensive these days :(:(:(...
