Would anticipate there is likely to be an interview needed to determine if you are in a genuine relationship unless you dated for quite some time before you knew the outcome of your refugee case. That could delay the PR as well as adding a spouse.

Hi canuck78, interview is not a problem because I think we got enough of good evidence to prove the relationship is genuine. But the only problem now is I'm gonna have a meeting with a CBSA officer very soon (in two weeks) and I'm not sure what is best thing to do now. Because i just got to know that my wife should add me as spouse on her file. But we don't know how to do that.? She is on PHWP right now. Do you have any idea how she can add me as accompanying spouse ?

Make sure she adds you to her application. The other thing is to follow CBSA instructions. Go to the meeting. If they ask to to leave, do so. If you don’t you risk a deportation order, and that will cause you no end of problems later.

She has to add me when she's gonna apply for her pr, right ? Or she can update somewhere right now ?

Hi Scylla, thank you so much for the info. One more thing,Can you please explain how can my wife do that, i mean on CIC website or she needs to call a visa office. On the other hand, as I'm on removal order do I need to add her in my file with CIC.? After this, if i need to leave Canada (on CBSA demand) before my wife gets Pr, will I get pr when my wife gets it here in Canada.?

here are a few information that may prove helpful on how to add spouse to PR application. also you can call CIC and ask.
