Yes the medical is still valid, on myCIC it shows: medical exam is not needed, we will let you know if this changes. My background check was in process and only today it changed to not applicable, when I researched I noticed that it may happen after medical results, that why I was looking for the person with similar situation. Is the medical of your parent(s) still valid? Was it not applicable always?
Read first link in my signaturewhat's a temporary file number ?
My 2016 income is at risk of accommodating NEW family size, but I am confident my 2017-2019 income will definitely meet requirement of NEW family size. Do you think I will have a good chance of passing? They should technically assess the income for 2020 for the new family size nut who knows.
However, since it is next year, if you are meeting the requirement for new family size for 2018 and 2019 but 2017 is a problem then no need to worry. Because in next year they will see only income for last three year.
It is not the same, when they start processing the application, later they should put it as passed. Because medical is needed, but in this case it is already passedYes the medical is still valid, on myCIC it shows: medical exam is not needed, we will let you know if this changes.
Based on their explanation http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14 yes, based on Guide and their manuals no. I am almost sure that you will not have a problem, but just for being safe I'll advise to prepare explanation letter with reference to their explanation, that your family size increased in this year, so from that year you should have income for .... people and you have that income from that year.My 2016 income is at risk of accommodating NEW family size, but I am confident my 2017-2019 income will definitely meet requirement of NEW family size. I think so as your family size is changing next year and they only see last three year. I had the similar situation if I had to give the salary of 2015-2018. Since we applied in Apr -June, I am okay even if they will count current family size for all year.My 2016 income is at risk of accommodating NEW family size, but I am confident my 2017-2019 income will definitely meet requirement of NEW family size. Thanks dear. This is helpful.
try applying through their consulates...My dad was in Kuwait and Iraq from 1978 to 1984. How can he get PCCs from these two countries as it has been 35 years since he returned to India? Any suggestions.
where in the US are you thinking of getting bio metrics done in the US? Also, there are certain POEs in Canada that accept biometrics, can they not do it there? The website does say only certain students and workers are eligible to apply at a POE.Sounds good Good luck for further process!
I had put Canadian address on application for my mother. Have not get DM or Biometrics request yet.where in the US are you thinking of getting bio metrics done in the US? For "silly" mistakes, IRCC will ask you to correct it.I dont mind waiting ....im little worried if i have made any silly mistake in the application...i just dont want my application to get return...does temp file no give u assurance that im free from any mistake??
Canada doesn't have any option for PGP biometrics yet. At the port of entries other application stream can give biometrics.where in the US are you thinking of getting bio metrics done in the US? Can you check ECAS by your parent UCI, which address is mentioned, as in my case it was mentioned back home address as residence address and I was advised to change it for not asking for biometrics. I am not sure, if this is right, but if we can see trend, then it will be useful information for applicants in Canada.Yulia-2016
Please update line 57, Biometrics request recieved today. For info parents have been in Canada for over a year on a supervisa and have thier own house here, gave the Canadian address in the application but still required to give biometrics. Looks like a trip to Helena, Montana as that's the nearest place to Calgary that we are able to give them.
ECAS still showing "application recieved 2nd May" but it's obviously being processed so I would take your ECAS status with a pinch of salt.
