It is not a bio-metric, it is RCMP police clearance certificate for background check. Out of curiosity, to the guys who did not receive request for RCMP police clearance certificate, did you guys submit any police record check? I am wondering if it is because I did not have to submit any police record check since I have been in Canada for the past 13 years and have not spend more than 6 months anywhere else.
We had to submit a police record check for her home country, Finland.

Hii, congratulations on becoming PR.
I am also a common law applicant applied on march 14.
Can you please tell what was the duration of your common law relationship on the day you applied??

Hey Everyone,

Its wonderful that mid/late Jan applicants are getting approval/interview notices.
I have a quick question as to how these notifications are being sent out.

I applied with a representative, so I don't have access to the GC Key, only ECAS. On ECAS I have not seen any change in a very long time - it still says 'we requested a police clearance on May 1st etc...'

Questions:
1 - When you get a DM/AIP letter did it come in physical mail or email?
2 - If you check your ECAS, does it reflect the latest status or is it stuck at times on an old status?

Thanks a lot! Jan 29th applicant eagerly waiting.

2 - If you check your ECAS, does it reflect the latest status or is it stuck at times on an old status? - It may take couple of days before the status is updated on ECAS but it is the next best thing to GCKey.

We haven’t gotten it and we have AIP and DM both sides. Might depend how long you have been in Canada.
I have been in Canada for Almost two years , is that normal that they ask for it? and how long you been in Canada when you applied ?
