Child mother and father were divorced and applied for canada PR separately for themselves and their family. They had a child (13 years old) who was included with his father visa application as a dependent. Now, mother got PR and moved to Canada with his husband. But the father's visa got refused and inadmissible for 5 years. Question is does this inadmissibility applies to his dependent as well i.e. the child?
The mother now want to sponsor child's visa and for this, she needs to understand if this inadmissibility applies to visa applicant's dependent as well.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

The mother can sponsor the child as long as the child was declared in the mother's application as a dependent when the mother applied for PR.

Mother showed her child as dependent but didn't apply for the child as the child was included in his father's visa application.
Mother just recently got PR card, can she apply now or she needs to become citizen first? Thanks for your reply.
