More good news! Got COPR today and passport delivered to visa office today.

My timeline

Denied - March 2017
Full Hearing Date - December 2018 (won appeal after 1 hour)
Request for Updated Forms - February 15th 2019
ARC letter and fees requested - March 30th, 2019
Pre-Arrival - March 30th
COPR and PPR - June 27th, 2019.


I sent went inquiry after 60 days with no response after ARC submitted and got response on web inquiry with COPR letter attached.

This forum has good to me and succeeded with no lawyer. I pray good news for everyone else.

They will attach the ARC granted form to the visa with confirmation of PPR. You won't get separate communication that it was granted - just straight to PPR.

But people have submitted ARC within this forum for more than 6 months and they haven't heard anything. I am not sure if it is different by each Visa office or our luck?

It all depends on the visa office really. Because CBSA gets back to them usually within 90 days.

We dont have kids together, yes they called my husband. The hearing was 7 hours long, very emotional, stressful.

what kind of questions do they ask? what if a little bit contradiction is found in you and ur spouse statement?

dear after win the appeal rec letter after that immigration your file transfer visa office minimum 2 weeks then they send you medical exam and also 2 papper and forms for your family information you have time frame one month between one month you complete the all documents medical and police certificate submit before the end of the receiving letter which date you rec letter for example 21 july and before 21 aug you submit the documents .and every time you check the GCKEY ACCOUNT coz they send you documents

The Canadian embassy no longer receives applications directly hence our sending our passport to Lagos vfs office. Like I said earlier, we chatted them up and they told us that :1. I can courier to VFS Lagos directly from the US 2. I can make payments online and attach to my package when sending to VFS Lagos 3. VSF Lagos can only send back my passport via courier to a local address
We don't know anybody in Ghana, that's why we didn't use the collection agency in Ghana.

still waiting for full hearing nd my husband had drink charges also his case still open . but i am really upset
because it effect my spouse application

Others can confirm but, if he has been convicted of a dui he will likely be criminally inadmissible for 5 years. If his dui is still before the courts, they will delay processing until such time as the courts rule on the charges.

Hey guys, just a quick update on my status,
last month I got refused by the officer, I have sent in reconsideration letter and a Notice of appeal at the same time.
After waiting one month, we have received correspondence from local VO that they will review our documents again and give us feedback.

On the other hand, we also received an acknowledgment from IAD said received our notice of appeal form. however, the letter from IAD wasn't clearly written, what should I do next? should I send in additional documents/ evidence to support my appeal at this stage? or I shall wait till they send me another letter to proceed?

he had stressed that time . stressed about me my rafusal nd broke someone's car glass after that he paid all money nd he felt guilty after that vo send a letter about his case nd again he is still trying to finish all this
