Basically the cases in all the VO's are getting delayed. My VO is Montreal and I haven't had any updates since March either.

Maybe all the officers are on summer vacation... No updates at all...

my offer letter states assistant manager- Marketing, and my relieving letter states assistant manager- digital marketing.

Marketing is the department
Digital Marketing is the sub department

5 months in AOR. No letters issued yet. what to do? should i withdraw it?

Oops... Bad situation. Kindly consult immigration lawyer. hope some expert can comment also...

Not really but some VOs seem faster and friendlier than others.
Ottawa is the best among inland VOs - it seems to me!

Just touch base with your VO? They either have finalized your application or it's been delayed? Check with them and let us know?

This is what I was told as well originally, then called again and was told it's in progress. I strongly believe if background verifications have been triggered it might mean you're in security screening.
