I can see ecas since June 12th as "Application received " and was able to link file to mycic on June 13th but as of today I have not received any AOR or any correspondence from IRCC except a reminder email to apply (that everybody received)
Everyone please take the time to review a few pages before asking a question. Your question has been answered numerous times.

it's not completely random and there is definitely a trend. Some AORs are delayed due to missing information though some are delayed due to random unknown reasons. I am sure there would be some guys not sharing the updates after getting them added to tracker.
What is this trend you talk about ? Almost everyone before early May that missed a form, a signature or that needs additional documents have received it so far. I don’t see any trend (my file was received on April 26th) just randomness
Now, if you tell me that having a file number with F means AOR I don’t trust this because they should send you one as it is their first step on the processing steps

Why do you want to see ECAS? Many people have been stuck in application received for weeks, trust me, when there’s an update in your file, you will most definitely get an email from them

Yes you can. But paying RPRF can save you time.
Without RPRF fee should be $550. Not $590

I would also pay the biometrics fees. A few users on this forum have been asked to pay the $85 fee immediately after IRCC started reviewing their file.

I didn't ask any question in my post. I answered the question of post # 11815 asked by David_Parker. And I quoted David_Parker's post as well when I answered his question.

Hi, my dad (pa) had a heart attack and is being treated in Ontario. Cost for his treatment is going to be way more than the limit.

does emergency and surgery comes under extensive health care cost too? Or they count only doctors appointments drugs and test for the cost consideration? Sometimes bypass surgery alone cost 100,000+ for visitor in Canada.
Hospital cost is 2500+ for the day alone.
If they count those things then it will easily cross the limit.

Thank you for your help!
Ontario? Is your father a PR already? If so these should be covered. Canada health act states that no resident of Canada should be billed for necessary medical treatment. Emergency and surgery or stent procedures will be covered.

Outpatient drug costs are not covered. But medicine costs while your father is in hospital will be covered.

I am replying on the basis that your father is a PR or citizen in Canada.

His father is the principal applicant for the PGP 2019 - visitor status in Canada. He is asking how this incident would influence the medical evaluation required by IRCC for granting PR.
