Please help: Doctor mistake on medical exam

I have a strange situation

On Friday I have completed my medical exam, i had to travel a few hours to another city to do it. The doctor measured my height and recorded it as 165cm, but this is very inaccurate, in fact I am closer to 180cm. I have measured myself and come up at 180cm.

The doctor says this is not possible and she has to declare what she sees and measures, but my concern is that she is incorrect. She was very very short and I wonder if she could see what the measurement was on top of my head.

She wants to submit the medical information but I am trying to stop her because I know that she is wrong on the height, but she says she has to submit and declare it as she saw it.

Is there anything I can do here? I have even offered to travel all the way back to have her measure me again.

Beauty and height lies in the eyes of the beholder! The question here is how did you find out about your height? You aren't supposed to know anything about your medical report. I suggest you sit tight and ignore the error.

Well, the doctor told me! She told me in cm which I am not familiar with (I use feet and inches), so after leaving I googled the conversions of height and weight and realised the height was very wrong.

Do you think there will be a problem if IRCC will see a discrepancy that I declare myself as 180cm and she declares as 165?

You should relax. This wouldn't matter since the onus is on the medical centre to be truthful and accurate. You did your job already.

Stating the obvious here - the simple solution is to go back to your doctor and take the measurements again, if you want both in inch and cm, just to avoid any confusion. Measurements can be off by an inch or so, but a 15 cm (which is 5.9 inches) difference is a gap that won't be overlooked.

I see your point, but if what the other people are saying is true and I'm not supposed to know what is being declared, my only onus is to make sure that what I report is correct. If the medical centre is reporting something wrong and I am not supposed to know what they say, then this is their responsibility?

I'm not a legal professional, but I'm fairly certain that you have the right to know your own medical results, and you also have the right to request a copy of the report to be sent to you once it's been finalized. In fact, your doctor cannot share your medical results with anyone, unless you sign the consent form and give them permission to do so (which you must have done before your tests were carried out).
In my opinion, your height is not a matter of debate, your doctor can't say you are 165 cm, if you are 180 cm, and vice versa.
If CIC rejects your medical, it won't be because of your height.

yup, had the same issue with my panel doctor. Total douche.

Hello everyone I'm in need of urgent advise, I'm 13 day away from my deadline to submit all my documents in reply to my ITA, i have all that i need only medicals were left to be done. On Friday i had my medical exam done and on Saturday the doctor sent me my emedical information sheet but there's a mistake on my birth year, i pointed out to the doctor via email but said that it came that way from the Canadian system and i have to sent a message to them but i don't really know what to do, thanks in advance for your help

I am in the same spot. The doctor is refusing to change the details where my Dates (Month and Date were reversed) on the medical sheet is wrong and claiming that IRCC made the mistake (FML). Can anyone please help me as I am 10 days away from my ITA deadline.
Will calling IRCC help in any way?
