Same... i think they do sedurity in batches. So maybe we are in que for that.I called ircc just now, nothing changed, eligibility recommend passed, security not started. Stuck here for a month already.
I would highly recommend you to read once all the terms, ITA, AOR, BOWP, criteria for the complete application etc in details otherwise you will be not able to file your application.Even you filed it will may have a lot of errors !!Hi guys
I just received ITA from IRCC.
Is this the only thing that is needed for applying BOWP or I need to wait for AOR?
The other guy who also got March 8 for aor said that his security already started but no update after that, I guess maybe they send name by alphabet, I think his last name is Li and my last name is Vo, so maybe after he heard from cic then it will be my turn? What is your last name?Same... i think they do sedurity in batches. So maybe we are in que for that.
I think they start security only if you pass eligibility (not recommended pass). My eligibility passed on May 23th, and they started security right after as I got a ghost update for that. Now it has been almost one month with no update. I only traveled twice in the past 8 years, don't know what happen here. The other guy who also got March 8 for aor said that his security already started but no update after that, I guess maybe they send name by alphabet, I think his last name is Li and my last name is Vo, so maybe after he heard from cic then it will be my turn? Some people said you only need recommended pass then they will do the security and then the senior officer will review all of them again and give it a pass if everything is okay. So you are sure that your eligibility is passed? Did you call them to ask? And visa office? Did it say eligibility passed in your online account?I think they start security only if you pass eligibility (not recommended pass). I am not sure. I called them several time. Everything in online profile stay processing. My eligibility became recommended pass around April 19. Then on May 22 and 23, i received 2 ghost updates, and I called them on May 24, got to know my eligibility became passed and officer initiated "security screening" according to the agent (That shocked me at the beginning but the agent said it is the same as "security check" and every applicant has to go through this stage, so I assume he meant regular "security check"). My visa office is Sydney NS.Some people said you only need recommended pass then they will do the security and then the senior officer will review all of them again and give it a pass if everything is okay. Now I’m lost, I think different visa office would have slightly different order for the steps? All we can do is wait. Any updates, movements, keep us posted.Honestly, there are so many unknowns... It's best to wait. I check immigration tracker, and there are still many people in January thread who haven't received PPRs... I'm not even talking about February and THEN it's us... At this point, I'm preparring for PPR in mid August... September 13 is my final day according to timeline.
