Same for Ottawa.
We haven't seen a drop of water in weeks. Already, we're beginning to forget what water even tasted like ;)
Jokes aside, I really really hope they haven't all taken off for summer vacations, and that all this waiting will end in a flood of PR's.

I got my PPR from Ottawa last week. AOR Dec 19th.

People are understandably frustrated waiting but try not to assume the worst!

Hi All,
Just received an ADR (IMM5406). We had submitted family information (info about both sides of parents) in the regular application, so why did we get this ADR?

Also, my spouse is the primary applicant and the request letter only mentions my name for the IMM5406. I don't need to submit IMM5406 for my spouse, right?

@legalfalcon

Thanks

I got an ADR for the same. Filled it immediately and got PPR 4 days later. The person you have to fill in the form as, is the one listed on the request.

Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa

Date: juin 3, 2019

UCI: ______________

Application: ____________

Email: ___________@outlook.com

WE ARE READY TO ISSUE YOUR VISA(S).

Please review your mailing address above and advise us of any updates.

Dear _______________,

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: abdbiimmigration@international.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.""

In all seriousness, it should be referred to as an RFV email. Everyone's email says "Ready for visa". Not everyone gets or needs a passport request (Visa exempt countries).

I feel like calling it PPR causes people a lot of confusion in this forum "Is this PPR?" Is such a common question =P

Hi,

I got adr for proof of funds. I declared 47k CAD at the time of application. But now I only have about 41k CAD in my account. For family of 5, about 27k CAD is required.

My question is this, is it going to be a problem that the initial amount declared is not available any more. Do i need to explain why?

Hello friends,

I received the email for PPR today. Below is my timeline:

AOR: Dec. 7
MEP: Jan. 18
Ghost update: May 31
PPR: June 3 (6:44 a.m. EST)
Category: FSW Inland
VO: CIO, Sidney, NS
Nationality: Indian

I was in false IP2 right from the start. I ordered GCMS on Apr. 15, which showed Criminality 'Passed' and Eligibility 'Review Required'. @Pura Vida and others whose cases are being processed at CIO, you guys can expect some good news. I also wish everyone else all the best from the bottom of my heart. Other than checking MyCIC once a day, I kept visiting this forum throughout the day. I won't exit the forum soon and would be a part of your journey till all of us get the PPR.

Thanks a lot to @legalfalcon, @derkdsou, @Spotted and others who responded to my queries and helped me all the way.
Waooo this is an excellent a good news to wake up with. I am very happy happy for you. Congratulations.Thank you for giving me this shot of excitement and mitivation :) good luck for your visa, landing...keep us posted with your news. Thanks for your wish, finally we got good news from CIO sydney :)
