I have downloaded form from the website. how can I find the latest one
M also facing the same problem since yesterday... downloaded the form from the same link but still getting error
I'm getting the same error. I'm using Adobe Reader. Please help!!

Just found a solution: Use the IMM5257 from november, 2018. You need to find the form in the following link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/application/application-forms-guides.html
I did but still doesn't work, which browser you are using? internet explorer? and which version of acrobat reader?
I've tried with internet explorer but didn't work. Then I tried again with chrome but with the IMM5257 from november 2018. The IMM5257 that appears in the application check list is from June 2019 and that is the one that doesn't work.
Have you tried with the 2018 version? Did you validated the info? You can check the version of the form at the end of the document.
So it seems like CIC has updated the documents in (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides.html) and no longer have the older versions.
For the Visitor visa application (IMM5257) I was trying to Find the 02-2019 version online but it seems like everyone has a link to their govt site which is now pulling the latest version only.
We will unfortunately need to wait till they fix this issue.
If someone has IMM5257 (02-2019) version can they please share over here? I am pretty sure that it will be accepting this version right now.

Yes after validate, I tried 2018 in internet explorer, but not in chrome. I will try again.
Thanks for providing the document. I am thinking whether I should wait for them to fix it or if I should just fill this version (02-2019) and apply
