Rejection of ICAI transcript by WES on 24th April 2019

Hi,
Since WES has amended the rules that the transcript has to be mandatorily sent by University/Institute to WES directly for ECA with effect from December 2018 (esp. for India), I have accordingly filled the online transcript application form for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and requested them to send it to WES. ICAI has charged me 1700 + GST for the courier charges itself.

Post evaluation by WES, the transcript has been rejected mentioning below:

Reason: WES received your mark sheets, but they were not sent directly from your academic institution as required by WES.

Instructions: Please ask your academic institution to send your mark sheets directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate official.

Have anyone here faced this issue lately? It seems ICAI sends the courier through DHL and not by speed post. Could that be the reason for rejection? Not sure whom to reach out to in this case.

Can you tell me how you resolved the issue? I have currently placed a request for issuing transcripts. It is still under process, has merely been a week.

Do I need to give any special instructions to ICAI for couriering ?

Dear simranj72, WES has changed our required documents as of December 1, 2018. since the increase in the number of fraudulent cases ESPECIALLY from Indian applicants. just login into exam icai web page and apply for transcripts again. in the address column fill your WES address along with reference number. that should resolve your problem

Are we required to include fail attempts marks in transcripts ?
There is option - do u want to include fail attempts details also in transcripts- so what to do yes or no?
