Hi guys,

I have been following ROH 118 and 119 religiously since May 12th when I entered the pool. This is the only page that gives me hopes and puts me at ease while seeing CIC act all unpredictable and nerve wracking.
Big thanks to all of you.

I am an inland applicant with CRS of 454 (common-law file).

My WP expires on July 8,2019 and my fiancé's WP expires in 2021.

Do you'll think the scores might go down in draws before July 8?

I do not wish to quit my job and stay here on Visitor's visa :(

Are there any other options with which I can work and wait for invitation beyond July 8??
Applying for an extension is also another possibility. But apply for it on a paper based, it means no online applying. At least you would get some extra stay.

Good to see people keeping themselves motivated and our regulars here to keep the others motivated.

At the end of the day guys, its just a journey not a destination. Give your all and hope for the best. If you are destined to land in Canada you will. If not, Life has better things for you. What we should eliminate is negative thoughts creeping in our mind. Be cheerful, if it means you are 449. There a lot of folks who are @439 still hoping for an ITA. Hope is something which they are clinging to. And that keeps in the good stead.

Spread the +ve energy.

Cheers
Shan

Apply for spouse work permit then you don't have to be visitor, it's easy.

I have done it a few times within these years and all were approved, hope this help;)

The most embarrasing part of every draw date is there’re so many negative and fake people who jumped in all of a sudden and start posting their arrogant expert opinions. Some of them always come up saying CRS will never go down, some will say forget about Canada and others with their false predictions and negativity.

I have one simple message for these people - why do you hide yourself in the remaining days when we discuss so many things here? Why don’t you have guts to show positive vibes in the thread and handle people’s queries? Why do you think if you guys have reached to Canada, so it’s simple to joke or post irrelevantly here? Who are you to decide whether we’ll get ITA or not? Why do you think we’re uneducated here and don’t know anything?

If you’ve nothing to contribute to the society, you should be very shameful when you join this thread on every draw date. You’re among those losers even if who’ve reached to Canada but achieved nothing so far. Draw happens or not, CRS cut-off goes high or low, we get invite or not; we simply are not interested in any of your post on the draw date. You guys have no work and you just simply jump in here to manipulate things.

I have never seen any positive comment from those negative people so far. They’re not adding any value to the forum, trust me.

Now the solution, I request everyone (genuine and regular folks) here to simply click on ignore button when next time you see such guys coming to this thread. Sometimes, no answer is also a great answer to such people!

It’s time to give them back!

You are inland applicant, try to get LMIA job to get extra 50 points if you haven't done so.
LMIA is not possible:

1. I work in a bank and my job is easily replaceable by any Canadian.
2. There are many Indians working with the same institution and they wouldn't do it for everybody, they had already made this clear during the interview.
3. Even if my employer agrees, the processing time is 2-3 months and I do not have that much time in my hands.

I went through all types of work permit and extensions available but I do not fall in either category.

Spousal was an option but my spouse's job is not NOC O,A or B. Mine is.

PGWP is not eligible for extension.

What kind of application should I choose while applying for extension? I mean what category?

Thanks a lot everyone in advance!!

Actually, for someone like me (416), I was kind of demotivated by seeing people having such high scores. I felt good for them but my hopes started to go down. That's when my wife said to not lose hope and work even harder. We have a 10-month old daughter; my wife happily takes up most of the work so that I get some time (after coming back from the office) to study French and diploma together.

I hope one day I can cross 450+ mark and post here about my progress. It is a very long road ahead but hope is the only thing I have.

Sometimes Hope is the only thing you will need to progress. All the best !!!

I have just recieved my IELTS results - 8.5/9/7/7. Still have some room for improvement. If my ECA will result in Master's equivalence (which is what I am hoping for) next week, my CRS should be 459, but only before June 21st when I will loose 5 points due to birthday. Damn this May with (almost) no draws for 4 weeks.

I hope we will get an ITA, it might not be as sooner as we expected, but we will get there.

The thing with CIC now is that they are unpredictable in terms of draws, after yesterday's debacle I am keeping my hopes low, and I've mentally prepared myself to wait for at least a month more.
I don't see much chance of being below 460 next draw (assuming after 2 weeks). I suspect next cutoff will be around 465
The one at end of June is my hope, because of looming -5 in July :(

Oh, there's no more option for work permit extension other than LMIA supporting it, I assumed your spouse have a job

There is another option which is the Visitor Record, with this you aren't able to work anymore
