From what I understand living outside Canada the only how I know that will work is that you had to show them that you have strong ties to Canada and that the job you doing there was through a Canada company that way if you decide to move back you can show them that seem company have a position in Canada for you it all about paying tax as of right now you only hold a Canadian ID but you not paying any tax I sure if you had a lot of money in the bank here or you own your own business here it wouldn’t have been a problem right away they will approve it they don’t even care if you have kids with the person cause I have 2 kids with my husband and they still refuse my application best of luck the only thing is to move back to Canada find a job visit while the application is been processed get letters from friends family let him take out a life insurance there put you as the beneficiary of it now you have to prove 2 things to them that your relationship is genuine and that your partner is not doing it just for papers to enter Canada

I have emailed IAD and CBSA some documents by email. I did not recieve an automatic reply confirming they recieved my documents. I have triple check the emails and my document is less than 10 mb. Is this normal?

they approve my appeal they asked for some documents which I already sent them now am just waiting to see if they request anymore documents but I already have received a per arrival letter

Thanks, I did try that number few time before but never got hold of a person. It’s automated. And when I press random numbers trying to get thorough it says unable to take more calls due to high volume. Seriously immigration is mental torture.

U just keep trying I live in Canada so 8 am the office open so I start calling them by 7:40 and and wait for 15 mins

My wife case was refused. Reason: marriage not guinuine. They wanted a differrent kind of marriage certificate than the one I provided. When I start the appeal, do I send the original marriage certificate they wanted with the appeal or do I provide that later. Please Let me know. Thanks

What type of Marriage certificate isn't allowed. I am also from Afghanistan and I submitted a single paper that said marriage certificate and got it translated into English. Is that not enough?

I submitted two marriage certificates one the green one which is written in Dari and one English translation

In the wedding u get a nikah khat which is brown booklet and after that u have to go many places to get that green one first then according to that they translate it to English that’s what I did

No, when my relatives went to the court to get the marriage officiated by the court they got the Dari and then they translated it into English.

And the English certificate is what I submitted since it says in English "Marriage Certificate"
