It seems now a days after you submit a CEC webform, you dont get an email immediately confirming submission of inquiry. I submitted twice, did not get a confirmation of submission of inquiry. However in a couple of days, one of my inquiry was responded by CIC.

Now under 50 days remaining :( No movement after BIL request

OMG, IT IS HAPPENING!
We've got our ready for visa e-mail!!!!!!! omg omg omg omg :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
We received the email this morning and we'll need to submit a copy of our passports and 2 photos.
No physical interview

My Timeline:

FSW-Inland

(I’m PA + spouse)

AOR - 19 Jan 2019
MP - 28 Feb 2019
Ghost Update 1 - 24 March 2019
Ghost Update 2 - 23 May 2019
Golden Email - 27 May 2019

Extra info:
.No biometrics needed
.After MP cleared, Background status changed from -”we don't need” to -” we are processing your background check”
And status application changed to ” we are reviewing whether you meet the requirements...”
I then received an update email. After that, no more emails, just the golden one.
.I called CIC on May 16th to check my application status. The agent updated some information (apparently deleted past address, maiden name and previous phone number) and told me everything was good and looking great. He also told me I would receive an answer shortly.
.My husband and I are WP holders. I came as a student, then got the PGWP, then he got a LMIA which we did not use in our application.

And that's it *-*
Thanks guy for your support! It would be 10x harder without this forum!
I wish you all luck and patience! ;)
Congrats i could only imagine how you feeling , go celebrate

I called IRCC this morning, they told me they are still working on my eligibilty review and background hasn't even started yet, the processing time bar shows exactly 60 days remaining, I am getting a little crazy about this...is there anyone in the same situation?

I'm 60 days remaining as well...I'm not sure what stage I'm in but my last submission was Biometrics in April. Guess we just have to keep waiting...good luck!

Typically after sending your passport it will take 1 week for approval, then 1 more week for visa/COPR printing. But it can also take as long as 1 month for the whole process, really depend on the current workload at your local VFS or CPC Ottawa if you are in countries that need to send to Canada.
You will not receive PR card until after landing, you can check status of PR card process on CIC website. It used to take up to 2-3 months, but currently it can be done in about 15 days.

Hello Everyone,

I am relatively new to this forum. Good to know that people are helping each other by sharing their thoughts and updates. I would like to share my status, timelines and updates as well.
I am CEC Inland single applicant, NOC - 2171
Jan 19th: AOR
Feb 28th: Medicals Passed(Background status changed to we are processing your application etc....)
Mar 1st: 1st Ghost Update(Updated)
Mar 10th: 2nd Ghost Update(Application/Profile Updated)
Mar 12th: Requested for GCSM notes
Apr 17th: Again Requested for an update on GCSM notes: (I was told that my request is kept under priority)

Spoke to CIC agent sometime in the 3rd week of April - I was told that R10, Criminality is passed and Eligibility, security is in Progress. Also told me that my file is shared between the Edmonton office and Sydney office. I remember, she told me that my file is set to complete by June. I have a feeling that my situation is a bit weird. The more surprising thing is my GCSM is still not dispatched. I just want to know if any other applicant is in a similar situation. Please post your thoughts.

I wish everyone here all the best and good luck for getting the permanent residency as early as possible.

Thanks!

What made your case unique and prioritized? Was it mentioned in GCMS notes?
