i hope that should not annoy CIC as she was not employed for 2016 and 2017

If she never worked may not really the best idea to co-sign. There was a recent case on this forum where the husband died suddenly leaving the wife financially responsible for his parents plus their kids. She is not able to afford the costs and they are unwilling to move or help. Being financially responsible for someone for 20 years is not something to consider lightly.

i have to attach letter of explanation explaining 2-3 things. 1. no last name for my parents, 2. spelling mistake for my father name in passport(correct in birth certificate and attaching same name affidavit), 3. Family unit size.

I am sponsoring my mother. To prove my relation with my mother, they are asking for my Birth Certificate Since i borne in 1965, there is no record for my birth except my Matric certificate that too have my late Father's name. To prove my relation, i have my OCI and cancelled passport of India which shows my mother's name. What should i do as i have everything ready except my birthday certificate.

The visa officers will have ro take out all the staples when they process your application. Don't do it. They scan things, copy things, etc.

Checked online status using UCI ( since my parents are on visitor visa they have UCI ), and the online portal is just confirming that they have received the file as of 2nd May

Do you have to mention their travel history anywhere in any form, as I assume they had visited Canada before on visitor visa? Also there is one more question on Imm008- Generic application form- questuon 11- last date and place of entry in Canada? Are you able to write anything coz mine is just gray out.
