guys i just a response for my webform...

• The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

• The background verifications are currently in process.
• The medical examination results on file are valid for you.

i m in ip2 since 12 march....now i noticed that few others who received this kind of mail, in them the second point was not in process yet

• The background verifications are not in process yet.

but mine is showing in process but still my eligibility looks like did not even pass the first phase...

what does this mean?

If you really need accurate information order GCMS notes. There is no point in interpreting web form responses.

Hello minty ... your post is a relief, i am also waiting for ppr, my vo is ottawa, aor oct11, fsw inland, i called may 1, agent told me all stages passed, but no update after that , i called again on may 14 and the agent said i cannot see if it is yet approved but yes all stages are passed. No update. Lets see now al we can do is waiting ... i will call next week and tell the agent to put a reminder note on my file.
Another thing , this entire journey is so worrying, sometimes i doubt even after all stages passed is there still a chance of rejection .. cic works is so many mysterious ways

Till the time your eligibility is not met, your Background check will not start. These are some standard reply.
Your should check your gcms notes to see what actually is happening with your application

My wife and I received our PPR email yesterday and we're sure we would've had a nervous breakdown without the support from this group. @SithLord.. You sure deserve a job on the CIC for all your involvement in this and many other forums.. Lol..

Here's a brief overview of our application:
FSW - Outland
NOC: 2132 (Automotive engineering)
ITA: Sept 20th, 2018
AOR: Oct 27th, 2018
MEP & IP1 with ghost email: Nov 27th, 2018
IP2: around April 10th, 2019 without any ghost email update
First call to CIC on April 22nd - agent said that our security and BG checks were complete and only eligibility review was pending.
ADR: April 29th - tax information, bank salary deposit statements and evidence of relationship with spouse with wedding photos.
ADR response: May 8th
PPR: May 15th.

We've been through some extremely stressful times just like the rest of you are. I've come home several times to see my wife breakdown into tears about not having any certainty on when we'll get approved or where our application lies in the pile. A friend of mine recently got his application approved in 80 days (Feb AOR), so i know how badly it hurts to see applications far later than ours being prioritized when all your hopes and dreams are hanging.

It's not easy to hear this, and i fully agree that it's unfair to keep you waiting with no updates, but please be patient.. All i can say is that your time will come.. All the very best to you guys.. Let me know if I can help with anything. Cheers !

I don't really understand why did they ask for this? I'm a single applicant and have no family in Canada, can anybody plz shed light on what is this about?? What do i do? Also they've given me 7 days time for uploading.

Did you fill this form earlier? Because you need to add details of your parents in this if you are single

ADR for forms can be due to many reasons. Usually if your information seems incomplete, or if the VO wants to confirm the details of the information entered, the ADR can be requested. Also, in family information, you have to add the details of your immediate family, even if they are deceased.

This includes your parents and your siblings. If you did not enter these details, this is another reason why an ADR is requested.

Also, IRCC can ask for any additional information at any stages. So there is nothing much to read in this. Just fill the form and make sure you complete it and leave nothing out.

Earlier in the sense while applying for PR? No i don't remember mentioning family form , am confused why did i get this ADR.

Don't worry, you might have skipped this form thinking that you are single and it has spouse details. Fill it again and send it across.
Other reason why ADR is requested is just to confirm the details again. So nothing to worry. All the best

oredered gcms on 29th april..i think it must be job related as my site office where i used to work is no more and the letter head had that site office address and contact number ...although i hope they contact my company's hq in korea (for samsung engineering)

Because you are in IP2.. that’s why it’s showing.. in progress.. better order GCMS notes.. might be a case of security screening.. only if additional verifications are required in security..

Are there any applicants who applied from the States... with processing office of Sydney, NS- How long before there is a decision on the application?
As of Oct 9 2018, all the required docs were updated and completed
Medical clearance was updated somewhere around oct 13-15 and then right after, all 8 stages were shown as completed. Now since last 6+months, we are stuck at background processing. I have submitted like 5 case inquiries to know where it is stuck.. but each response is the basic one... that they are still checking and will update once a decision is made.

Anyone know when to expect a decision? Anyone stuck in a similar stage? Thanks

My file is also in Sydney NS. GCMS which I received in April showed that Medicals, Eligibility, and Criminality has been passed since last November. No updates from CIC since Medicals passed email.

I have been calling every 3 weeks and they keep saying everything looks good but background checks still being processed.

My patience ran out today and I ended up calling the helpline number.
My Eligibility is Rec. Pass, Criminality is Passed, and Security is Not Started.

She'd sent a reminder to my case officer on April 30th, and they have to wait for 30 days for a reply back from them. So now I have to wait 2 weeks for the 30 days to expire before I can call back and get some new info.

Now back to being patient.

Same here. We have basically the same status.
The agent said they sent a reminder to the case officer on April 30 so hopefully we get some updates by month end.
