Never lose faith my husband is still waiting since February, nothing since medical passed, but trust and believe we are next. While everyone is celebrating for their PPR's I'm stuck in BGC for 2 months now and no update I'm feeling left out and starting to lose faith
Yaaaasssss Josh!! Congrats man!!! WhoooooI just got PPR! ECAS still shows in process but GCKEY had a ghost update!
We are in the same lot to be transferred to Mexico VOHello, I am very worried because since March 14 I passed the medical exams and my application was not transferred and did not start the background check. I see a lot of people around here have the application stopped, too.
I'm from Brazil. What logic will they have to make the queue walk? Is it by country of origin? Will it be by medical examination approval date? I just wanted the background check to start, my application has been stopped for 2 months.
Congrats JoshC. You have been of immense help in this forum with your timely responses to so many queries. Good luck to you my friend.I just got PPR! ECAS still shows in process but GCKEY had a ghost update!

hi there - i didn't pay my biometric fee either simply because i missed the "exception" noted on the page that tells you if you need to submit them. my application was received 8 days ago, should i pay the fee as soon as i get AOR1 and send it in once i link my application to my account rather than waiting for the request for payment then another wait for biometrics collection letter? i am on a pretty tight timeline as to when i can submit my biometrics without having to travel and incurring additional expenses. im in mexico now (and applying from) but i will be in the states for almost two months between june 5 and august 4 where i can easily get to several offices to do so. once im back in mexico it's a flight to mexico city w hotel etc etc... TIAI didnt pay mine upfront either but I had noticed through this forum that others had. So I went online nd paid the fee, then sent the receipt to IRCC via webform. They attached the fee/receipt to our application. I did this the day after we got AOR1.
App was received: Nov14
AOR1: Jan16
Confirmation of payment receipt from IRCC: Jan30
Biometrics request: Feb11
You can pay right now and then once you get AOR send a webform in with your application number and attach the receipt pdf:hi there - i didn't pay my biometric fee either simply because i missed the "exception" noted on the page that tells you if you need to submit them. my application was received 8 days ago, should i pay the fee as soon as i get AOR1 and send it in once i link my application to my account rather than waiting for the request for payment then another wait for biometrics collection letter? i am on a pretty tight timeline as to when i can submit my biometrics without having to travel and incurring additional expenses. im in mexico now (and applying from) but i will be in the states for almost two months between june 5 and august 4 where i can easily get to several offices to do so. once im back in mexico it's a flight to mexico city w hotel etc etc...
