Medical Request Not Received

i have some frnds who applied after me for Fedral through AINP
They got their medical request in 8-9 months.
It’s been 12 months for me nearly by end of this month and haven’t heard anything about my case other than the file number.

How the hell this system works? Can someone explain

Same boat here. But from what I gathered, background check is what delays the process and depending on where you are from, it could take longer or shorter. If you see this message below then I guess it’s getting closer!
