This was not an easy journey for me i lost my husband in a car accident before submitting my profile, I had Responsibility of my 4 years old son on my shoulders. Despite of many factors that was trying to stop me, i decided to apply and the day finally comes.
Long story short - just keep praying, i can understand that some people are getting ppr earlier as compared to others but all we can hae is patience and trust in supreme power. We have worked hard for it and we will achieve it one day meanwhile just be positive and have patience.
I pray that everyone gets their ppr from this thread and by the end of MAY we can close this thread with all the smiling faces and on a positive note.Stay Blessed.Stay Adored Guys! Good luck and my best wishes are with you all .

I did some digging on this and also with help from @Immigration_guru what I understand is that, the background check is part of security.Hello,
Can you please let me know who are these Government Agencies? Are they from Canada or from the country of the applicant?
The agent hung up the phone after saying "congratulations, you will hear soon about your application"the last i called them up..the agent told me it was being processed (rather than progress)...and the next day i was shocked to notice "ip2"....so maybe this guy could have given you the good news in advance
Thank you for the encouragement.. I wish the same for you. Are u in Ip1 as well..Ah! I know how it feels, feeling the same today. My status is 2 weeks past my 6-month timeline and no update. But all I can say is that keep your spirit up. I hope and wish you receive it next few days. Sometimes they are very fast with the process, once they pick a file. so Be positive!
I don't think this is true. GCMS Notes have no impact on the application, although I have heard they withhold releasing GCMS notes when application is finalized.Got an interesting information from an agent today. According to him, when notes are requested they put a freeze on the account for at least 2 weeks to gather information. So basically he said I will probably not hear anything in 2 weeks or a month cause I've ordered notes last week. Besides that application is waiting to be finalized since April 10...
The word recommended doesn’t referred to the word ok. For example in my notes it is written r10 ok recommendation: pass criminality.I might be wrong, but if you check any notes you will see in front of R10 its written R10 OK recommended.
Logically R10 verification is basic so it is recommended, then the agent checks the documents under the law and note it as Met and at last the officer checks everything and make it pass.
Every visa office follows a different process in some cases, for ex- few applicants noticed that criminality is done before eligibility and some pass it after eligibility.
So the flow might change in cases but this is a general process.
Yes, I think some call center agents may not be very knowledgeable in this regard. They are probably only trained to answer what they see on the screen. Some of the senior agents if you are lucky enough to get hold of them will give you more insights about your application. What I totally believe in is that there is definitely lack of quality control in the IRCC call center
GCMS notes have no impact on your application.I really hope this is not true... As I ordered notes yesterday and I don’t want any freeze on the account. Experts @Immigration_guru , @legalfalcon ,@SithLord , can you please give your thoughts on this.
Why do you think there will be anything negative when your eligibility is passed? My eligibility has changed from met to passed , criminality - passes, security - not started .
I have been asked adr for dependant.....
Can der be anything negative ?
