Too long Delay fro Mexico visa Office

Anyone have any idea why would they delay visa, you have submitted your medical examination and passed it 6mths and still waiting.

when you sent your application and when it was transferred to Mexico?

I agree. We are with the Mexico VO and they are slow . I sent additional documents requested and they were acknowledged 12 days later. Mexico has taken on many many countries in their office , so expect the full wait

especially with the Havana office closing and all the files transferred to Mexico VO. but hopefully it is no more than a year!

I believe, this question is more like when they received the medical, and that was about 3wks after it was done, an additional 5 mths have passed, immigration Canada website outline 3 mths after medical is done you should here from them with final decision..

there is no standard in time unfortunately.. while it would be nice to say 3 months after medical is done you have a decision, this is not realistic as we can see is the case with many apps...

so after medical the wait time to get a decision is 3-5 months; that would put me at the 1 year mark!

thank you but that is the number for the IRCC here in Canada. They claim they cannot see any updates/ file notes on the files transferred to Mexico. so I wanted to call the Mexico visa office to see what is going on...

just looking for a second opinion... do you think it would be a big problem if my husband came on vacation and if they request his passport during that time just send it in from here? The wait is killing us...
