I got AOR email on 9th April 2019 and my ecas shows that IRCC have posted copy of AOR and book for preparation of citizenship test on 10th April, 2019 but till date I have not received above letter and book. Should I contact them or wait? Pl advise

There is no need to wait or call them. You can order it yourself from this link:

Hi guys, I was requested FP on May 8th. Only for me, no request for my wife.
I got FP done yesterday and I requested to be sent to me and then I will forward them to the office. Why? Because, I wanted to have more control, knowing when I send them I will get a signature from the office rather than having the RCMP sending the to CIC and not knowing if they got there or not.
We will see how it goes....

i just contacted IRCC and they said my file has been transferred to Mississauga !!

i read here that , mississauga is very slow in processing applications..!!

i dont know why they moved it there although ,i live in hamilton...!!

the agent said, they are doing security background check now, after that they will send test invite which will be in hamitlon..!!

does that mean, my app will be processed in hamilton afterwords or only the exam will be in hamilton?

Does everyone get asked to send finger prints? And at what stage does it get requested? I'm currently "In process" since 15th April and got AOR on 5th April...

History :
I sent them an Web form, they sent me an email saying that they return my application till February 12. I do agree that I got my application back on February 18. Then I realized that they were some missing documents. I
I finally fill out a new application with all the documents required and sent the whole on February 20, received by CPC Sydney on February 22.
I do not really understand what is going on...

I do not really understand what is going on...

Maybe the incomplete original application has slowed down the processing of your application. Other people who applied after you have jumped ahead of you in the queue unfortunately. Guess you'll just have to be patient. Your AOR will come soon.

They don’t send any hardcopy or AOR if you have selected the option to communicate through email. On ECAS there will be a link of Discover Canada, through which you can prepare for the citizenship test.

Hi. Have you tried to contact them by calling them directly? And have you checked your junk mails and the ECAS system using your UCI? Sometimes people didn't receive AOR mail but later found their application received status on ECAS.
I myself experienced a much-longer-than-average waiting time to obtain my AOR. My application was delivered on Feb 18, but I got my AOR only last week. I contacted them twice. The first time the agent promised to send a note to the Sydney office, but nothing happened afterwards. I called them again a couple of days later, this time leaving them my package tracking number, and the same evening I received my AOR. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or the tracking number really helped me.
I believe if by this time you still haven't received a returned package from them, then it's highly likely that the package is sitting quietly on the desk of some agent and still waiting to be opened. Even if they sent your package back again, they would have a record of the tracking number of your package in the system, according to the agent who talked to me on the phone. Don't know why it took so long though. Maybe the agent who has your package is currently on leave.
