Guys, On IMM 1344 I wrote Conjugal Partner outside Canada instead of Spouse living outside canada, how big of a deal is it?
Not a big deal. IRCC will see your marriage certificate and everything else showing you are married.Guys, On IMM 1344 I wrote Conjugal Partner outside Canada instead of Spouse living outside canada, how big of a deal is it?
Why isn't he landing with you? Is he included as non-accompanying?Hi everyone,
My husband and I are currently preparing the documents needed for spousal sponsorship once I land in Canada. However, I read in the form that I must submit a copy of my PR card. I have read that it may take 3 - 4 months to actually receive the PR card once landed in Quebec.
My question is, is it possible to submit for spousal sponsorship with just a copy of my COPR once I land in Quebec? I have tried searching for answers but I haven't seen any confirmation of its possibility. Anyone have a link to shed some light on this?

A copy of the COPR is fine.
Yes, you should submit an explanation of why there is no PR card. Note that you are required to be in Canada for the entire sponsorship process. A few short trips are generally allowed.Hi,
Thank you for your response. Yes, he is listed as non-accompanying. We got married when I received my CSQ, did the update and added him as spouse. We both were requested for medical then I received my Visa afterwards.
I will submit the sponsorship then when I land in Quebec. Is there anything else I should be wary of regarding this? I saw some post that an explanation why I can't submit a copy of the PR card is advised.

There is no minimum income requirement to sponsor. You must be able to demonstrate you can support your family and cannot be collecting welfare.Hello Friends
