Where you under security screening? If yes, how long?

GCMS notes just showed a 'blank' against security since 11 Nov. There was no other specification. When I called IRCC around January, the agent said that security is in progress. When I saw the ghost update last week, I called IRCC again when the agent confirmed that security is passed. So, I guess I was in SS between 11 Nov and 23 Apr

Received the golden e-mail a couple of hours after your message. Good luck to you and all applicants awaiting the e-mail. I received mine after 280 days of waiting. Hang in there!

Usually, they will request you to do medical again. After passing medical will be PPR. Do you know when your SS started? What’s your AOR?

Hello,

I am a CEC applicant and here is my timeline:
AOR => August 31st, 2018
MEP => Sept 21st, 2018
Criminality Passed => Oct 10, 2018
Security Checks initiated => Oct 10, 2018 (My MP checked my file and confirmed)
GCMS notes => January 2019, showed REVIEW REQUIRED for my work
WebFrom documents sent => February 2019 to resolve the RR
Eligibility Passed => March 21st
Additional Docs requested = March 22nd (Schedule A, CV, Student Supplementary form), documents sent the same day
Security Check Started => April 1st (Ghost update confirmed on phone with CIC Agent)

As you see there are 2 Security Checks one in Oct 10 and one after I gave my ADR.
What is the difference between the first security checks and the one after my ADR? It's been more than a month no news yet...

Hi, We just received our GCMS notes yesterday, and it shows Eligibility and criminality pass in late November 2018, seemingly entering security screening on 10th December. There are 5 blank security related activities for each of PA and spouse. I wonder any one who has passed ss and had their GCMS notes know, how many activities will there be in total, before ss completes.

There is no fixed number of activities, and it will vary on may factors. If you want to see the details, your best bet would be to request CBSA notes.

Question: Is NSSD involve in citizenship application as well?

When I applied my PR, NSSD issued negative recommendation against me. IRCC overturned their recommendation and issued me the PR. I then applied for citizenship and it's been more than 15 months I am waiting and still no test invite.

I requested ATIP notes from CSIS 12 months after I applied my citizenship application and they replied back, "Your security screening case is still in progress".
Yes, NSSD is involved in citizenship applications too.
