Yes its a government job. For Eg, if he works for Federal that would be national and accordingly.

If he continues farming here, i would put that. Putting nothing is also allowed, since some parents may spend retired life in Canada.

For the imm5669 - Schedule A Background/Declaration --- I do not have the date of birth for my grandparents. I read in the guide it says that you can put an "*" asterisk however it will not validate the form.

It Says:--below in the guide

Note: If you do not know the complete date of birth or if the date is in the 1800s, please use a “*” (star sign/asterisk) to fill in the spaces for the unknown year, month or day. The missing information can be added by hand however the form cannot be validated.


What is the right course of action if i am not getting DoB of my grandparents ???

Hi everyone, do we have to validate all the forms that have a "validate" button.
In form 0008, the section asking National Identity Document, the expiry date for both my parents are "permanent". So I put the word "none" in the expiry date, this prevents me from validating the form.
Will this be accepted at IRCC?

If sponsoring parents only, no need for their birth certificate.

if your parents are divorced, you would only need to provide financial proof for 1 of them and you need to provide proof of divorce.
Otherwise, i don't think you have the option to only sponsor 1 if they are still alive and married to each other.

@YULIA-2016 I now see you added a link to my spreadsheet in yours, and thanks for that. But that confuses me. Why do we need two tracking sheets? Like I said before, if you want to make updates until PGP 2019 is done, and are willing to accept all kinds of formats (which I am not), please just take all the info from my sheet, let me know, and I'll close mine.

Hi @kinetic2214 and @YULIA-2016 please may you advise how can I access trucking sheet, I noticed that all information is deleted from there and the other one is not so useful as it doesn't contain the information that we need now (when the application was sent, when it was received by CIC, please can you add one column too when it was possible to check the status on ECAS). @YULIA-2016 please can you add the info and continue to update it. I know that it is not fun and it requires a lot of time and efforts, and particularly when you file is complete, you will not be interested in updating it, but maybe you will do it up to some point and later there will be others who will like to update it??? Thank for all of your job @YULIA-2016.

Did you use the Use of a Representative form? If yes, was the ECAS updated to the principal applicant's email or sponsor's?

I cannot see email there, but when I called CIC they said that they cannot see My "Use of Representative" form entered. Maybe they only recorded as received and later they will start to enter info.

What are all supporting documents we need to submit with all forms??

Supporting document means- Parents Marraige certificate/AAdhar card/ passport and??

For address for last 10 years do we have to mention like they came here in 2015 since than they went to home country about 2-3 times that too just for abour 3 weeks so do i have to mention separately for the weeks the went to home country or i can just write from 2015 till present they have been here in canada

Just mention any address where they were staying for 6 months or more. Read the user guide.

But on the application guide they have mentioned that one can fill * symbol for unknown figure in a date. The missing information can be added by hand but the form cannot be validated.

Now I am not sure where to get my grand mother's date of birth. Confused.

I contacted the IRCC agent today. She mentioned that to complete the form to any estimated date(As close as possible). Validate the form. Then print it.
Cut that date and initialize that field with the name. write 'see attached' and write a note referencing this and explain that you don't know the exact date.

I hope this helps somebody in the same situation.

Yeah, but also PGP 2019 Tracking spreadsheet (How to update) and I'm trying to understand the situation here.

write here and mention @YULIA-2016 , it seems for all years it was done this way. @YULIA-2016 please correct me, if I am wrong.
