Why did they ask you RCMP criminal record check?? Do they ask everyone? I just submitted PPCHi guys,

April 24/18 - AOR
April 5/19 - Request RCMP criminal record check
April 23/19 - Submitted the criminal record check
April 25/19 - Medical Request
April 26/19 - Pre_arrival
Waiting for medical result receive.
If your name matched to someone in their records(I guess it has something to do with my English name), they will ask you to provide RCMP criminal record. In my case, they didn't ask me but when I saw a "fingerprints required" in my GCMS notes. I did it before being requested. and in my next GCMS, I passed criminal.Why did they ask you RCMP criminal record check?? Do they ask everyone? I just submitted PPC

No news, Jan 8 2018 AR. just waiting...., last update was pre arrival letter since Aug 2018 and no news after that. Medical will expire June 5th. I am inland.Any January applicant got DM OR PPR??
