Heartbreaking to see the tie breaker now on top of the cut-off..the wait for ita is getting longer with every draw. Created profile on 15th Nov'18 and improved score to 448 in Feb'19.
Same here! Created profile on 5th Nov and improved score to 448 on 25th Mar. Looks like my chance would be in the third draw of the month or June.

Hey,

The same thing happened with me just now. Checked my profile and I see points for my 3 years..updated to 471. Wondering if we're cleared for this draw.

Let's wait for a while and then we'll know if we receive the ITA or else next draw.

Congratulations everyone.
I will complete 2 years of work soon(first week of June); Just realized that the system gave me the points for 2 years already. And current CRS is 470, in case I get ITA, I am gonna grab it, and submit the application next month...

Very true. I was thinking I will easily sail thru with 446.The Jan 30 the ruined everything. Its really sad. I fear now whether I will get they or not
Till Feb 20, I too had this feeling.
Now this current scenario seems like never-ending nightmares.!

Wow. Well predicted guys! More than 3 members were spot on predicting it as 450.

What do you think the next draw CRS cutOff could be ?

I would suggest, you should improve your score buddy (if there is any scope). The current trend of CRS cut-off is horrible and I highly doubt with cut-off reaching to 446 in next 2 months. Rest, I don't know what's happening but it's scary.

Look at me, with a score of 450 still waiting since last 6 draws.

Well, there was huge number of applicant s in 450, Those who were in 435 above was trying to increase there score also. Many of them mite been successful in reaching to 450 . so that is the reason why tie break was for Nov. I guess ,u will ring more applications in even CRS scores.

Do you guys think if CIC has made a shift in its policy and don't want to increase the invitation count? I think CIC might be using those additional invite in their other programs which are recently introduced. Is there any hope CRS will go down to 445 this year?

What was your initial score?
I didn't pay much attention as I knew that unless you have CLB9, it won't count. I guess it was in 370s. I created profile to help my chances with the tie breaker.

Now, I seriously feel bad for applicants below 450 score. If the current trend of 450 is scary then think about applicants with 449 and below, they'll have to wait so long for their turn.

450 will take another 2 draws atleast to clean up. Till then, database is getting increased like hell everyday. So, think about the next backlog of 449 will take ages to clean up.

Everything is messed up after January 30th. CIC should atleast conduct draw with 1 week gap or increase ITA's ASAP otherwise people will be demotivated for sure with upcoming draws.
The cut-off now should fall significantly from June onwards, as they carried out PNP for applicants with masters (Around 667 invitations).

A bit of my theory here.

Assume that majority of the candidates go through WES before creating the EE. The standard time for Wes evaluations is 2 months. However in late feb due to some reason Wes said that the number of applicants had risen and hence they sounded out to all applicants that the standard time of evaluation post acceptance of documents has now been increased to 35 days from 20 days. my own evaluation took 3 months and I received the same a week ago.
Hence the spurt in 451+ could be because of this backlog.

I believe that the number of 451+ was very close 3350 this time and very very few slots were left for 450 candidates. Hence the ridiculous tie breaker.

Now since the Wes backlog has cleared and now I sense that they are back up to speed on their evaluation, the number of candidates entering the EE pool will also normalise.

So, 450 folks keep your chin up and next draw will surely bring back the normal cutoffs back. All the best!
