that's strange that ppl say include the divorce certificate as well, but the application didn't ask for it, i cannot imagine they reject me because i didn't include something it's not asked for right?

Just based on a recent experience where they asked for the divorce certificate at a later date. It's not on the required forms but if you include it, it may save time later if they request it. Up to you if you want to add it now or not.

Hi Yulia, what do you mean by how many mon by CIC? I havent suobmitted my parent sponsorship app yet. Im still in the process of completing the forms. Just not sure if i can continue with my dad passport (expiring in Oct, 2019). My mom passport will expire next year, which is ok? Renewing passport may take much longer( 2 to 3 weeks) in their country.

Any suggestion?

what the due date to submit dock? if its 2 mon you have enough time to renew a passport, I would do a new one to avoid headache then

Hey anyone help to fill form ,have no officially surname on passport ,but mention last name as surname in intrest form.

Well this is common problem with many people. Mostly in India where people use Full name instead of First and last name. There will be no problem while submitting the Application. CIC knows Last name was mandatory so people split their names. CIC will use your names based on The ID Proof and the name they have associated with UCI records.

Hi all, when I submitted the interest to sponsor , I was not very clear of "rules". I only put my mom's information and the total number of sponsored people is 1. My parents are still married, but I thought I could sponsor one at each time due to the family reasons (no income issue). Now I want to do applications for both of them together. Is this still possible? have my mom as principle applicant and add my dad as dependent? Anyone in the similar situation.

I tried to call CIC, but could not get through. How could I contact CIC?

Hello all,

I have a question about the similarities between the interest forms and the actual application sent in.

I did not include my sister in the initial interest form because I thought the dependent age was less than 18 and did not realize it was to changed to below 22 in 2017.

She is currently 21. Can I still include her in my application form as a dependent of my parents or do I have to leave her out since I did not put her information in the initial interest form. Please advice.

I have a doubt, I only added my details in the interest form to sponsor my mother on 28th Jan. However, my wife will be cosigning the application to qualify the required family income. I haven't submitted her details at that time as there were no questions asked about this. Is that ok if I add my wife as cosigner when I send my mother complete PR application?

What about signatures, does CIC need real signatures or a signed, scanned electronic copy will do. Reason I am asking is that my mother is in India. It will take one day to send electronic copy, get signed and scanned and receive it back. The courier back and forth may take 2-3 weeks ?

They need REAL signatures. Fill in the forms, send the electronic copy and arrange a friend or relative back in home to help her to print out a physical copy (if she doesn't know how to print a document from email). Ask her to sign and courier back.
We did the same last year. It does take time (about a week including finding someone to print it and bring the doc to her) so don't wait till last minute.

If your rental income WAS filed properly, it should be reflected on your NOA. There is no way to include additional income that's NOT filed.

how would you calculate gross income for the most recent period - until Present, as it says on form 5768? (14., employment history) It's mid-year, obviously, so it would be really difficult to figure out what our income is as of today, especially regarding investments.

What are other people planning to write there?

yours is coming soon, wonder if you notice this but on the website it says June 28 the deadline for submission, meaning CIC is giving it around 4 days to send application from now until April 28. The last day that people are supposed to receive emails is April 28.
