You can try to increase your score and if you cannot able to increase your score now than wait. There are chances that it will go down to 449 but can’t say when .

I maxed out IELTS. Education is 2 or more degrees. Experience is only 1 year, I will have 2 years in August but for some reason CRS calculator doesnt give me any extra points for that. I guess I will have to wait.

It did not. It is just end of December and then in January, there were 2 back to back draws. And after that they have decreased amount of ITA. That's why.

In last year ~ the first few draws were only 2750 but this year was 3350-3900 and one b2b draw in January.

If they keep 3350 or slightly more until the end of year, it is still enough to meet their target.

Quick question on employment reference letters:

1. For three previous employers, I got the reference letters dated Jan 2019 earlier this year. However, I got ITA now so all those letters are three month old. Can I still use them or do I get new ones issued?

2. I didn't put current employer (where I am working for the last three years) in my profile. Is it okay to continue with not putting them in the work history post ITA?

1. No issues. Previous employer reference letters are valid always once issued.

2. Mention it into personal history since you are not claiming point for your current employment.

In my opinion, the USA plays a significant role in increasing the cut-off. As I mentioned in one of my posts, in November Trump govt. decided to revoke H4-EAD (visa on which dependents can work). People who were just thinking about Canada started applying for express entry. Also, the number of H1B visa rejections are at its peak.
So, most of the people who are on H1 or F1 visas in the USA are applying for express entry as a backup.

i got an ITA and am filling d application form...am currently doing my phd and i have 4 year work experience as a research assistant using my masters degree...should I include the fact that i am doing a PhD in the application form?also i work full time, will it affect my points if i am a PhD student and working full time as a research assistant in my sch?
