Thanks buddy .

I have few questions..and I'm not sure how I should proceed..!!

@derkdsou @USProgrammer @legalfalcon - can you please guide me ??

There are few on-going things.

1 I may or may not get married within a month and in this case, I need to send my passport before that. If my passport get stamped, it will be like I need to do at least soft landing before last date stamped on passport and I'll need to apply for spousal Visa for my wife once I get married. Is it correct ?

2. ls it possible to reject/return CoPR once passport is stamped to add my wife in current file or will it be completely different and separate file for her as spousal Visa file ?

3 I have read that spousal Visa application takes almost 1-1.3 yrs. Can anyone confirm please ??

4 If I do opt to receive my CoPR, is it possible to apply for spousal Visa while I'm in India or do I need to check PR card for that or land in Canada at least ?

Note: nothing is certain as of now so can't predict when I'll get married so asking these questions and exploring options.

Amazing that you're through already! Congratulations!

sorry if I made you nervous my friend.... I have a doubt .... Can you please help me in that... My wife's passport will expire in August 2019...
1. Can I ask her to apply for new one before ppr and we can send both new and old to vfs post por
2. Or we have to stick with old one and apply for new one after reaching canada...

Please help with your valuable answer

@legalfalcon @USProgrammer
For visa stamp atleast you need 6 months validity of passport. You need to renew your passport at the earliest. and once you get your PPR you have one month to submit the passport which has validity for 6 months. No option but renew the passport now.

I am holding our CoPRs in my hand. Never before have I held a more beautiful set of documents, nor have I so heavily scrutinized each piece of information on a document before.

Medicals were on Nov 1. Valid until Nov 28, just like it said in my GCMS. My wife's medical was valid longer in GCMS, but it's using mine. I don't know why it was extended. Perhaps the furtherance.
I can feel your emotions, many Congratulations and Good Luck!

if your US license is still valid/active, you'll be able to do a even exchange but if it's not valid/active i.e has expired , you cannot do an exchange. If you have your Driver abstract from DMV they might consider that as your driving history. Overall you need to show 3 years of driving history to get full G, you can show that by combining the US and Indian license extracts .
Thanks this is very helpful !!!

congratulations... you seem so relaxed during the whole process. very nice.. maybe you havent noticed ghost updates because you checked your profile rarely. If you checked and saw no update if ppr comes without any ghost update there is no need for checking profile everyday for me. then I am also on faux IP2 from the beginning

Hi All,
I did my engineering in "Electrical and Electronics Engineering". My canada immigration AOR date is 1st Dec, 2018.

Yesterday I got a request for "additional documents required" from CIC. They need information on SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION REQUEST FOR STUDENTS. I am not a student.I am not sure what to respond on the following questions.
Please help me as I only have 6 more days to respond to these queries.

2- Proposed, current or past thesis.
We never had to create any thesis, should it be NA ?

3- Intended, current or past supervisor(s).
There were many professors who taught me during engineering? What should I write here ?

4- Supervisor(s) for previous studies
There were many professors who taught me during engineering? What should I write here ?

5- List of publication(s) and research papers
No publications or research papers were created by me. Should it be NONE ?

6- Source(s) of funding for studies.
Education Loan from "State Bank of India" bank.
Since I got a job after my engineering, I paid the entire load in easy monthly installments and the entire loan was repaid by April 2010.

7- Upon return to your country, what employment plans do you have in place? At which company or
organisation and in what field of work?

What should I write here ?

Name of company : Are they asking my current company ?
Duties: Are they asking my current duties ?
Name of supervisor(s) : Are they asking name of my current Supervisors ?
Got same too...we have same AOR and we studied same first degree ..sent you a pm
