@USProgrammer @derkdsou - anything to get worried ???

Hi guys..

Called IRCC again today.. it was my third call as I have completed 4 months.. Unfortunately, no update since my last call..

Moreover, agent told me that last updated date on my file is 30th Jan which is over 2 months..she told me that agent might have touched the file but didn't find anything worthy to update notes

Any clue why it is causing so much delay? (apart from the obvious fact that there are way too many applications coming in). I cleared my medicals on 26th Jan and after that I have not got any update. As per the timeline, i've only 10 weeks left.

I've got so many other things to do like travel to other country, change my job but I am not doing it only cause of the fear that it will delay the process on my application even more. Like if i change job, i need to inform them. Same goes with travel, if I go outside my home country, I need to inform them. I don't understand what to do. -_-

Hello everyone,

I need some advise regarding visitor visa for Canada. I am 12th Dec AOR. I am a seafarer and I am supposed to join vessel from Montreal. I had used services of a travel agent for the PR Visa. As it is weekend I cannot contact him. I need to know if I can apply the Visa offline at VFS. Also, will it effect my PR processing. Company's travel agent is unable to apply online due to some issues with the site.

Kindly advise

Hey guys.. finally got my GCSM notes...
Soooo: Very little work done on my file.. and even though it seems to be in IP2(Background check in processing and MEP), I would assume IP1 and 1/2 :)D ).
Eligibility: Not Started
Medicals: Passed
Criminality: In Progress ( Office notes say recommend pass)
Security: Not Started
PNP: Validated

Transferred from CIO to Etobicoke because of workload (re)-distribution

Oh well, back to the bench and wait...
what is your stream? please add in signature.

Yes, I did read that post and quoted that as well..!

My worry is that last updated/checked date is 30th January 2019 on the file. However, as agent stated that, it might be possible that unless everything is finalized or any substantial update is made, date might not be updated.

Any thoughts on that ?
For Indians in India your time frame is fine. You should expect around 160 days. Look for my recent scatter plots for India in this thread.

Seems perfectly normal. My notes had no updates between IP2 and PPR except for my phone calls to IRCC.

Thank you for response.

Hopefully, that would be the case with me as well as there has been no updates since 30th January which is over 2 moths ago. Fingers crossed and waiting for ghost updates / PPR email. Now, timeline is in days for me. 60 days to go..!!!

Hello everyone, any applicant resident in the UK with December AOR gotten their PPR?
Judging by Immitracker and what i've seen, not so far.
There is another thread for Europe applicants with a few of us from UK in there (not sure how long we'll stay in that group haha) with regular updates too. Best of luck to you! :)
