I want to know that if I apply visitor visa for my parents on my convocation ceremony but they don't come on on mentioned date in visa application, then what will happen? Is there any problem? and how many years of visa my parents will get?

No problem.

It depends on the assessment made by the visa officer who evaluates their applications

Just to add to what Bryanna said.

If the visa officer is satisfied with the application, the maximum visa length is ten years or one month prior to the expiry of the passport, whichever comes first. This will be a multiple entry visa.

Naturally, the officer can choose to give a shorter visa, or restrict entries, etc.
