Hi just found out my file is being processed in CIO Sydney.
Any ideas on the time lines to expect?

Latest update is:
Eligibility - Met (Worried about this... as it is not Recommended Passed... not sure what to expect... what is Met mean?)
Security - Not started
Criminality - Passed

Plz find Signature below.

My status also same. I thought Eligibility - Met is also fine. Let me know if you get any update.

Met means you passed 1st stage of eligibility check...there 2 more to go...but if you are met at 1st stage, 2nd and 3rd are no problem at all....Expect PPR Soon....

Hey.. so there are multiple eligibility check stages? Any idea if the subsequent stages also take time? I called CIC last week and was told that my eligibility was passed on jan 17. Criminality in progress and security not started. My AoR is 6th Nov. File is still at CIO sydney.

Are the additional 2 stages of eligibility done at cio or local visa office? Besides, how do one know he/she has met eligibility the 1st or 2nd /3rd time? Is there a timeline?

my status is still review required for funds since 22June, then nothing has happened since then. Does it mean my case is just awaiting for an officer to be reviewed? i raise CIO last week and the response is simple: notification will be given in due course.
but i heard someone told me that i am in a very deep background check and only if the check finished that the vo would give me my final decision?
can anyone tell me which one is right? if i am in a deep background check, how can the vo check my background? does the CIO authorize a third party?

I have same AOR but my eligibilty is not met, criminality is passed and bg check not started... i'm wondering what does that mean?

You should order GCMS notes / call up CIC to know why eligibility is not met. If there is a problem with your documents then you can proactively upload the requisite docs using webform.

Medicals - Passed
Criminality - Passed
Security - Not Started

Have you got any update yet ? I see that CIC has been really slow since mid of last year. There are few people from Jan and Feb AOR who have already received COPR and we are still stuck at CIO Sydney, hoping to get updates this week !
