Good news everyone.

Quick re-cap: June AOR. File approved in November at Montreal office. No movement in my file after that at all.

I phoned IRCC on 5th March to ask for updates. They confirmed that file was approved and was not touched since November.

I (cheekily) e-mailed IRCC.PRA-RVPR.IRCC@cic.gc.ca on 18th March requesting for an interview, using the details of my COPR that was on my GCMS information. I did not have any formal communication of approval at this stage.

On 19th March (today), I phoned IRCC again. Agent was genuinely shocked that my file was approved in November. He noted that there was some movement in my file in the last couple of weeks since my last phone call to IRCC.

Suddenly, I received a landing interview letter today (19th March) from Etobicoke. The interview is next week.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Hoping for the best for everyone else waiting.

If you know that your file is approved, call the IRCC office by phone until you are able to speak to an agent. I think that is the best way to communicate with them after the file is approved. Call them once every two weeks or so. Raising a CSE at the post-approval stage seems to be ineffective.

Also, my online account still does not show any updates whatsoever.
Congratulations!

Try calling them to find out if some information is needed from your end. Also, email them and/or raise a CSE asking about the same.
Hope things get sorted out soon. ATB
I did both. I called today and the agent said that I should hear back soon and that an officer was waiting for information regarding security and now he's going to "revise" the application ( I am not entirely sure what that means) .. and when I raised a CSE I just received their templated response.

I don't mean to freak you out, seriously. I'm trying to share the limited information I have on the subject so that you have a better idea of where your application stands.

The reason a file is put on hold is indeed that "information is required":

"Section 13.1 of the Citizenship Act allows the Minister to suspend an application in certain circumstances, and without time limitation, in order to obtain the following information needed to make a decision:"

But I guess you're right. If the reason stated on the GCMS note isn't "suspended" then I doubt its the case.
I hope so too! This whole thing is getting extra stressful everyday

I'll always consider you real family, for no matter this form of communication is virtual as it is, your care and support have touched my heart.
@cansha @maverick1982 @Adeife23 @cad143 @tuitui509 , and everyone who would take a moment now to remember who I was & what was my case, but has once took the time to write me a supportive statement...
To you all : I got my ppr email just now.

@Pringles226 What do your most recent GCMS notes say? I believe you received a ghost update yesterday. Did you get an email about that earlier today?
My most recent GCMS notes are from late January, I got them earlier this month. I requested a new set a week ago, so the ones coming like a month from now won't contain whatever changes they made to my application just yesterday.

The only set of notes I have say that my eligibility is recommend pass, criminality in progress and security not started. Nothing of concern on the "notes" section.

here's my journey:
I'm a FSW-O, single applicant, and I'm a female by the way :) (not a US resident), AOR: July 30,2018
MEP & IP1 : August 21 & 22,2018
then a complete silence till Feb 28 2019 : my background check changed to "not applicable"
March1st,2019 : refusal letter, got an email and opened my account to find it instead of the ppr email.
Throughout this period i requested gcms notes twice , and had a number of calls with IRCC agents.
The agents always answered me that my application is "under review" and that my criminality & security haven't started yet. that was all they had to say , even on the same day before I got my refusal letter.
the first gcms notes were recieved three months later! (ordered through ATIP, so i don't recommend that ).
the 2nd gcms recieved after 3 weeks or so (through getgcms.com) (that was fast).
in that 2nd set of notes, received on Feb, 9th, 2019, I discovered the issue with my application.
it was a POF issue, the officer reviewing my application has misinterpreted my bank statement, as i saved my money in the bank in the form of "certificates of deposites" (fixed deposits) , he/she interpreted them as "lines of credit"!!! which completely screwed up me complying to the requirements of the settlement funds.
the next day , i raised a cse , clarifying my situation and providing more documents from the bank, but apparantly that wasn't considered, obviously they had made up their decision by then, and the application was then pending sending the refusal letter.( that's why it is crucial to order notes in appropriate times to allow you to follow up with your status).
After receiving the refusal letter, life went black.
i raised a cse asking if there was an appeal, the following day i sent another cse for a "reconsideration request" attaching all the documents I had and clarifying my situation.
after 10 days or so , an agent replied to my first cse , where i was asking about the appeal, and asked me to provide any new documents with a deadline that was a week ahead. I thought she wanted to request me herself a reconsideration.
after few days, today i received an email notification to check my account , to find the golden email.
I created a new profile ..I was going to repeat the whole process from the begining.. but at this point I guess I was lucky enough to end my tiring journey today

OMG this is what I call a miracle. I am a christian and I believe in miracles and this definitely is a miracle for me. cos I could remember you mentioned that you sent an explanation to them when you saw that on your gcms notes. Congratulations once again and I am extremely happy for you
