Estimated remaining processing time: 43 Day(s)

I hope things move radically fast for the October's AORs..

Does the CIC application progresses faster as the estimated approaches? Is it a common trend for the files go beyond 6 months?

my patience has long been worn off and now this seems almost like an injustice on cic's part...if they can't handle these many applications then why invite in first place...they can't even process within 4 months timeframe let alone 3 months... now its 5 months...evry freakin person with family or other than Indian outland is being prioritized first....at least follow the aor queue...even my brother who applied later than me for australia has got his prhappy for him though

I'm in the same boat too. AOR: Oct 24, 2018. Ordered my GCMS last week, and spoke with a CIC agent today who told me everything seems just fine. I wonder why the delay really. Even though 6 months is the stipulated time, most Oct AOR's have started receiving their PPRs. I just wonder.

Hi there,
You can get to know your visa office by raising a CSE. Ask them about your eligibility, criminality and security along with visa office. That's what I did and got to know mine is Ottawa. Similarly you can also call them and ask them these same things.
Apart from these things they won't mention much. Neither during call nor CSE. If you want more details then gcms notes is the way to go.

Hello,

I was checking for CSE - however it says that " We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times."
Since I will have 43 days remaining in the process, will they respond my request? Is calling them Better (as of now)?

3 months ? Where on their website did you see 3 month processing, In as much as we all feel anxious, we should not blame CIC until the normal processing time has elapsed - which is 6 months.

doesn't mean that they should stretch it to 6 months...it used to be processed in 3months...but its their greediness...they purposely sent out crazy no if invitation just before Christmas break...my point is the least they can do is follor the queue

My AOR is Oct 6th & Visa Office Ottawa.
Spoke to IRCC on 4th of January & was told the following:
Eligibility : Passed
Criminality: Ongoing
Security : Pending
Decided to call them 7th of March (5 months into the application) for an update and was devasted to hear its still the exact same thing since first time I called them. NOTHING HAD CHANGED!!! It’s just my wife and I so I told her. She’s been sad ever since.

i can understand...thats really frustrating..hope u get it by this month's end at least

i am oct 24 aor, have called them thrice in jan & feb combined only to hear same status-
eligibility-met
criminality & security did not start yet. i gave up calling them ever since 3rd call on feb 19th.

There’s still a ton of people waiting longer than 6 months from April,May,June,July AORs. Heads up to some people who think it won’t go the full 6 months. We didn’t think so and we are approaching 8 months.
