Hello everyone,

My application was received on : December 24th.

AOR 1 on :February 21st

Biometrics payment request only :February 22nd, and uploaded payment receipt same day via webform.

S.A on February 26th.

No MR, No Biometrics or any other updates since then.

I double check on January 2018 thread, and everyone on January thread have gotten all updates including Biometrics, MR and SA.

This doesn’t seems right to me. It should be based on first come, and first served bases.

Is there anyone for January 24th, with the same situation?

When you compare with movers, everything seems to be not right for you. But I can assure you everything is right for you. You got AOR and SA. Just give it a bit more time.

When you compare with movers, everything seems to be not right for you. But I can assure you everything is right for you. You got AOR and SA. Just give it a bit more time.

Indeed, each case is different and you really can’t compare with people. The trackers are good for getting a general idea of where you are for the early stages of your application but I wouldn’t worry if you’ve got AOR and SA.

It is right. You are on track. As case-specific investigation begins, all cases may be started in chronological order of reciept, however the actual process can, and does, vary based on PA country, VO country, case-specific investigations etc. You are fine. Be patient. (I need to take my own advice)

-- FYI PA and I received an email about the progress bar thing today. meh to that. Wish it had've been AOR2 (*Goes and checks GC Key anyway)

I checked, some other members were receiving the same email last December. I found some screenshots. This progress bar will do nothing. It's just a bar with two dates. On the left the date IRCC received your application, on the right the estimation date based on their current estimated processing time (which is now 12 months).
So you will see "Dec 03, 2018" on the left and "Dec 03, 2019" on the right. And in between will be "the progress" if you can call it like that, just based on time passed since Dec 03.
Here's quotation from there website:
The progress bar shows how long it may take to process your application. The bar and estimated dates are based on the date we received your application and our processing times. It isn’t based on your application’s progress.

In other words, it's totally useless.

Got the email too; thanks for sniffing this info out (and basically confirming my suspicions). I imagine this is designed for those non-obsessives who don't visit message boards like this and don't even realize how long they should expect to wait. So, in the end, probably nothing more than a way for IRCC to prevent people from calling their hotline all the time for updates when they are only 6 months in.
