Hi @Ashmi ,I have received a communication on my application today asking for me to submit IMM1017 - Medical Report form. But I have already given upfront medicals for all three of my dependents and submitted the e-Medical receipt provided by the hospital along with my application.
Has anyone faced this? Please help.

Appointment for biometric is for 8 March 2019 will my processing of TRV will start after submitting biometrics or it will be in process in backend.

From the little that I know, it is only after the biometrics that they start processing your application. Without the biometrics, application is considered partly finished.

If you go by the online processing time it says 15 days "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html" or usually its unpredictable from what I see by the users post.

Well.. to me it seems that it starts soon as you apply online and then it depends on the que- how many oersons have applied...


Why? I went for my biometrics 21 days after the biometrics was requeated.

And I got the request to submit passport the nexf dat after ny biometrics.


Seems that they will not put final decision till you submit biometrics. But other processing is "on" in the background. Because at the site it says- 15 days for processing .


My time of applying- 1st week of February (online & at New Delhi)

Hope it helps reduce stress for some

All, I need to apply TRV for my in-laws. Need feedback of this group.

1) I created a login in CIC website, went through the questionnaire and finally system provided me with list of document to be furnished ( which my in-laws need to upload). One of the document is Marriage Certificate. Both are 60+, doubt if they have marriage certificate ( they have Aadhaar, Voter ID & recently got passport as well ). Is MC mandatory ?

2) With regards to documents, that shows their intention to return back in 6 months, what all documents can be furnished ?
