Shall I apply with a CRS of 430?

Hi,

My CRS will be 430 by the time I enter the pool in May 2019. I am wondering if it is even worth going ahead with this score as I feel that even if scores do go low, I would lose to candidates who are in pool from earlier due to tie breaker. I would lose 5 points after May 2020.

If I make my spouse primary applicant, we will still sit quite low at 438 and will lose 5 points in Sep 2019.

can I please get some advice whether we should go ahead or not.

You can always create your express entry profile anytime and be in the pool if you meet minimum requirements, and update your application if there's any changes. Doing so, if your profile is updated, the submission date will still be the the day that you created the original profile.

However, 430 is really low and not possible in my opinion. 438 is possible with some luck, I would try to improve ielts instead of waiting and hoping.

Thanks. Unfortunately, our ielts scores are maxed out. We are 41 and 38 years old and that explains why we are losing points despite full Ielts score and masters degree :-(

Can't really say as I have not explored it. However, I have seen lot of people coming through it. I believe one can find lot of forum related to this.
