@B.B. just to be clear is it 7th March or 7th May? Because you wrote 2-3 months instead of weeks. If it's the former, they'll most likely extend the visa expiry date automatically. If it's the latter, I'm afraid you'll have to make quick travel plans as there may not be any extension. (I've seen visa expiry dates 2+ months post COPR receipt so it's not all that new)

Its 7th of march, iam going to sumbit my passport this week, so most probably i will get them back after 7th of march

This is my 7th week since my dep applicant in overseas received PPR request and got COPR. However, am still waiting for my landing appointment. When I called the agent, he said that I have to wait for 10 weeks and then raise a concern. Let God gives me more patience. Anything alternative that I can do??

I am in the same situation as you. My overseas spouse received passport request and we sent it for stamping but no landing email scheduled for me yet. The agent said the same - 10 weeks before we raise a query.
I want to ask did you finally receive you landing email and when. Also your spouse received the copr passport before your landing interview scheduled right. That is what i can understand from your post.
Actually our medicals expire too within 10 weeks so we are not sure.

Me also tried many times they said timelines are not fixed. Your file is under review so office will contact u very soon if they need any thing

welcome to the club, I have given up all my hopes, nothing I can do from my side to expedite process , apart from wait...!

Why should we just wait endlessly. I think that there should be a time frame. It is not fair to live under this uncertainty. After all, the point of having clear processig times is that people feel assured that they are being treated fairly and know when to expect to hear back about their application. If time was not enough, the processing time can be extended for 3 or 6 months, but the applicant should expect to have their application finalized before the end of that extension.

I think that we should not just wait. How about starting a campaing on twitter or facebook or both demanding clear processing times, and extensions if necssary, for all types of applications?

they don't really care how we feel, what upsets me the most is that my application haven't been touched for 8 months and there is nothing i can do..just hopelessly wait and hope it will be soon over!!
