GHOST UPDATE: Feb 21st, 2019. I formed a habit of checking my account literally everyday after i crossed the 4 months mark. I logged in yesterday morning, and saw that my status had changed to Application/profile updated. No email, statuses remained unchanged (medicals, adr, background and the rest) and no message in my account. After I logged out and logged in again, status changed to submitted.
PPR: Feb 22nd, 2019. Ready for Visa Mail from CPC Ottawa at 2:41am Nigerian Time (Dated February 21st, 2019). No message in my account.
VO- Ottawa
Single Applicant.

Ordered first set of gcms notes on the 29th of November, 2018, arrived in my mailbox on the 2nd of January, 2019. I got to know that my file was in CPC OTTAWA. Not a lot of progress seen. Criminality and Medicals Passed. Eligibility and Security Not Started. Info Sharing: Started.

Raised CSE twice, got generic responses. Called IRCC multiple times but was connected to an agent once in Early February, just after i crossed the 4 months mark. (Agent also could not provide any info I didn't already know. Was told Eligibility and Security was in Progress.

Ordered Second GCMS notes after calling CIC (February 14th) because i wasn't satisfied with the responses i had been getting. Yet to arrive

Been a silent on this forum, and I want to thank everyone for their contributions and useful information during this process.
Congratulations to all those who got PPR. Wishing everyone the best of luck, PPR is around corner. Hang In There and Never Lose Hope! It will come.

It’s finally a relief guys, my PR journey/anxiety comes to an end. I got my PPR today(4:24am Vancouver time). Here’s my timeline:
CEC single applicant
AOR: September 20th
I only had 10months full time experience when I applied but it was still an on going job.
MEP/IP2: October 16
Ghost update:November 16
From November 20 to February 17: called CIC every Wednesday same status: eligibility recommended pass, review required due to my Canadian education level of study wasn’t stated. Criminality passed. Security not started.
Ghost update: February 21
PPR: February 22

Due to my work experience I was really worried about my application. I ordered GCMS note twice, they both say same thing.
Finally my brother can gain his 15 points to apply for his express entry.
Stay strong guys..... hola @ me for your banking needs when you arrive Canada

Super happy for you my Nigerian colleague in immigration... Great great news ......What was the response u got after u raised a case ...cos when I called last Tuesday and I was told eligibility and security hasn't started ,only passed medicals and criminality...
But when I raised a case ..I was told eligibility is currently been verified by responsible office...ur contributions would highly be welcome ..running out of patient ..aor Oct 12th here ...vo ...CPC Ottawa
Thank you. When I raised a CSE (25th Jan, i was told the same thing, background was in progress, and initial checks to ensure my application was complete was completed in Nov, 2018, and that they are committed to processing my application within the standard processing time. When I called IRCC on February 7th, i was told that eligibility and background was in progress and security has not started).

Congrats ! I wonder if you can let me know if the recommended pass changed to review required after they found your education problem or it was marked like that from the very beginning just for the education but the overall status is still recommended pass?

According to what I have observed and from few of my friends' experiences I know that PNPO takes much more time than FSWO and whereas, ghost update is concerned it is like when you login into your CIC account, you will see the status as "application/profile updated" but when you will click on check full application status there will be no change in information in any of the heads
Do PNP cases take long at each stage or it’s just a myth
