Hi guys,

I am on F-1 Visa and I have 3+ yrs of Exp As a Database Administrator(It Filed).I am i Eligible to Apply for Canada PR
..

I would be great if anyone respond

Thanks in Advance..

If you have at least 1 year experience in the last 10 years in one of the jobs on this list: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list you can apply. Otherwise you would need an AEO.

If getting an AEO is hard for you, many people have that experience, then you could look into going to Canada on a student visa, if you stay a year, you can apply for FSW under category 3, that is people who've been in Canada for 12 months.

Or if you could get a H1-B, H1-B1, H-1C or E-3 visa and your occupation might be NOC 2172
Database Analysts and Data Administrators you would qualify for the Alberta H1B program at http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/campaigns/h1b.html

Or if you speak French, you may qualify for QSW, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/quebec/index.asp

But I think that you have to complete atleast one year on H1B then you can apply, You cant apply as soon as u get H1B approval... Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, you are right, he'd have to be 1 year on a H1B visa.

One year on H1B would be a continued stay or a total stay of 1 year?

Hey thanks for your reply`s guys..If i have AEO can i apply for PR By staying in US only or Do i need to stay in Canada..

There are 3 categories for FSW.

Category 1: You can apply from anywhere and you have experience working in an occupation that is on the list of 38
Category 2: You can apply from anywhere and you have an AEO
Category 3: You need to be in Canada on a work or study visa for the previous 12 months

Hey guys how do we know whether the employer is HRSDC Approved or NOT.I heard that most of the
employers are claiming that they are HRSDC Approved but CIC is Rejecting with reason that Emploer is
not an HRSDC Approved Employer.

If you are planning on applying with AEO, the employer needs to apply for the AEO at HRSDC. It is not enough to have a job offer letter directly from the employer. It has to be applied for and approved by HRSDC. You can see some process info here: http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/poarremp.shtml
